A man in Murang'a county who had planned a beautiful wedding is still struggling after the day turned into his fiance's funeral.

Stanley Macharia was hoping to marry the love of his life, Nancy Muthoni, but his dreams were cut short suddenly.

When were Muthoni, Macharia expected to get married?

The two were meant to get married on Saturday, August 17, but Muthoni died a few days before their big day.

The cause of the lady's death remained a mystery, but what happened left many in pain and shock.

Wedding, funeral at St John's Church Pumwani ACK

“Nancy, however, died a few days ago, and is being buried on the day she was to be married,” read the post.

When he was laid in the coffin, Muthoni was decorated with his wedding dress, and those who were suitable to supervise him in the wedding also wore the clothes they were supposed to wear on the day of the ceremony.

The ceremony was held at St John's Pumwani ACK Church, where the couple had to exchange rings.

The church was full of friends, family and guests turned up for the event, how they would have done if Muthoni had been alive.
