Nairobi – Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta he is expected to call a meeting of Azimio's subsidiary parties to deal with the opposition crisis.
Azimio parties have not seen eye to eye following the appointment of ODM politicians to the President's Cabinet William Ruto.

Leader of the Wiper Party Kalonzo Musyoka he admitted that there are challenges in the opposition coalition, saying it is a normal thing in the coalition.
During the Africa Youth Conference 2024 on Thursday, August 15, Kalonzo revealed Uhuru would lead the debate in an attempt to stop the ship.
“Even the chairman of the Declaration meeting, who is Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, may call a meeting to discuss these matters openly, before it happens, it is normal for political parties to do so. clearly and thoroughly,” Kalonzo said.
How did Uhuru help Ruto?
Divisions within the political outfit once again erupted after Raila making allegations about his interactions with the former head of state.
On Tuesday, August 13, during the funeral service of former IEBC commissioner, Irene Masit, father of Mzee Chirchir Masit, in Elgeyo Marakwet county, ODM leader Raila Odinga revealed the involvement of Uhuru in designing a broad government.
Raila explained that the former leader of the country called him and asked him not to stand still as the country went into chaos during the Gen Z protests.
He said that Uhuru advised him to look for Ruto and help him in dealing with the issues raised by the youth while protesting.
The ODM leader added that after his conversation with Uhuru, Ruto approached him and made him speak openly about the flaws of Ruto's government.
He seems to have hinted that he had a role in Ruto's decision to dissolve his entire Cabinet.
Kioni denied Raila's claims
In a quick response, Kioni denied Raila's claim that the former head of state was involved in the formation of Ruto's new Cabinet.
Kioni explained that Uhuru's position is that he cannot be involved in a government that is allegedly causing a major disaster in the country.
He emphasized that Raila's claim that Uhuru encouraged him to talk to Ruto is not true and incorrect, referring to Uhuru's letter asking national leaders to listen to the concerns raised by Kenyans.
