Siaya – Police in Alego/Usonga have launched an investigation following the mysterious death of a 42-year-old man.
Citizen Digital reported that the body of the man was found lying on the side of the road in the village of Ulore South East in the Alego area on Sunday, August 18.
The Siaya County Police Commander, Cleti Kimaiyo, said the villagers raised the alarm after finding the man lying unresponsive.

Kimaiyo said the incident was reported at the Kogelo Police Station by the local village elder George Yewa and officers rushed to the scene where they found the body.
He said that the body did not have any injuries and was taken to the mortuary of the Siaya County Referral Hospital to await an autopsy.
Preliminary investigation showed that the deceased, who is a resident of the nearby village of Kosema, left home on Saturday, August 17, but did not return home.
The deceased's wife said her husband left home saying he was going to the barber shop in the nearby Dondi market.

The police found the body of the deceased still dead along the Awendo-Diraho Road, about 200 from the house, with a large part on the left side of the stomach.
