Manchester United's new £59m signing Leny Yoro is expected to be out of the 2024/25 season with a foot injury. The 18-year-old, who arrived from Lille this month, was forced off when United were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last Saturday.
The centre-back was forced off before half-time, and has already been ruled out of the match against Real Betis in San Diego on Wednesday, before facing Liverpool in North Carolina on Saturday.
And sadly, he has now been spotted using crutches and wearing a plastic protective boot at the club's training facility in Los Angeles.
Video footage posted on social media showed the France under-21 international joining his teammates on the team bus to training.
But he appeared to be walking forward on crutches, and now looks to be a major doubt for United's Premier League opener at home to Fulham on August 16.
Before that, the FA Cup champions face Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on August 9.
Erik Ten Hag now faces the prospect of starting the campaign without Yoro and Lisandro Martinez, who has yet to rejoin the squad following the Copa America.
