AFC Leopards coach Fred Ambani explains why decision to kick out Ingwe from FKF Cup was a bad decision.
AFC Leopards coach Fred Ambani has slammed the decision to expel Ingwe from the FKF Cup over fans’ chaos as ‘very wrong’.
FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee found AFC Leopards guilty after their fans allegedly invaded the field in the March 8th encounter played at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium, in Mamboleo, Kisumu.
The fans protested the referee’s decision to rescind an earlier awarded penalty against the 12-time FKF Premier League champions.

Victor Wanyama has been named alongside Virgil van Dijk as one of Celtic’s best teammates, with Scott Brown recalling his dominance on the pitch.
Ambani however, feels that was utter injustice to Leopards, telling Citizen Digital: “Everybody saw what happened and that’s why we see teams that have not fairly won but are pushed to proceed. This is total match-fixing and it’s so wrong. We even have produced photos and clips of what happened but they don’t want to consider them. They are just seeing AFC (Leopards) as culprits and not Mara. That’s very wrong.”
Ambani said the camera had the evidence of what transpired, terming the decision a mission against Leopards. “They have their own mission and if they have their agenda to promote certain things, so be it. If they think they have done the right thing let them do it. It is so wrong that with all these cameras and people know what happened yet you come up with such a ruling it baffles me. Which fans started invading the pitch if not Mara Sugar fans? Who provoked fans to enter the pitch?” Ambani questioned.

Ingwe have endured 26 years of title drought, a barren that Ambani is expected to addredd going forward.
