Samuel Tompoi: Simanzi's Bedroom while a police officer who died in Haiti is buried

Samuel Tompoi's body arrives in Kenya

Tompoi, who was part of the International Security Support (MSS) Mission in Haiti, was reported to have died on February 23 after being seriously injured in an operation in Ségur-Savien, Artibonite.

His body was returned to Kenya on the evening of March 10 and was welcomed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Deputy Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli.

Upon arrival, her body was stored in Chiromo's corpse while the family continued with funeral preparations.

The 26 -year -old official was officially laid down and buried at his home in Naserian, Kajiado County, on Wednesday, March 19.

Photos circulated online from the funeral showed mourners sad, while fellow police officers dressed in full uniform seemingly angry about the tragedy.

Popular leaders who attended the funeral include Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo MusyokaDap-K leader, Eugene Wamalwa, and other local leaders.

Many Kenyans appeared on the internet to send condolences, while others expressed their sadness over his commitment to foreign missions.

Cause of the death of Samuel Tompoi

After the arrival of his body in the country, Tompoi was taken to the Chiriro Funeral Home for a post-mortem examination.

The report of the investigation revealed that the 26 -year -old officer died from one bullet in the head.

Tompoi was shot during an operation in Haiti's capital after he and his squad were attacked by suspects of armed gangs.
