“I met a woman from Kenya. When I begged her to pray for Nduta, she said she knew her. She claimed that they were arrested together in Ghana about four or five years ago,” Wotherspoon claimed.

The preacher said that he had received a letter from the prisoner stating that after being released from Ghana's prison, they were forced to enter a house by the people who threatened them.

The prisoner claimed to have been forced to transport drugs by people of origin of Nigeria Those who warned that they would kill their loved ones if they refused.

“Please do not let him be killed, he says the truth. They are Nigerians. Part of the letter read.

Nduta's family opposes Wotherspoon claims

In response to the allegations, his sister Nduta vehemently denied, saying that her sister had never been arrested in Ghana.

“No, my sister has never been in Ghana. Do you see how people are composing false stories?” Nduta's sister insisted.

Was Nduta given to transport medications?

The preacher's allegations seem to be contrary to that of his mother Nduta, Purity Wangari, who excited Kenyans for a sad story claiming her daughter was allegedly carrying drugs to Vietnam.

Speaking bitterly at his home in Murang'a, a sad Wangari explained how a man known as Njoroge handed Nduta a box containing the drugs.

He said that Njoroge instructed Nduta to send the box to Vietnam and hand over the woman he was waiting for there.

Nduta was directed that after meeting the woman, she would hand over something, which she would bring back to Njoroge after returning to Kenya.

However, Nduta was arrested at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, with more than 2 kilograms of drugs before meeting the woman.

This happened after security officials discovered the drugs hidden in his luggage when he arrived in Vietnam on his way to Laos.

After his arrest in July 2023, the middle -aged woman was charged, found guilty, and sentenced to death – a severe punishment under Vietnam's law.

Nduta was expected to be executed on Monday, March 17, but he is still alive, which brought relief to his family.
