Wangari thanked the President William Ruto In his efforts to ensure that his daughter's case was handled.
“Thank you so much, Mr. President, because my daughter is not hanged. I will be more happy if you help us get her home,” He said in the Citizen TV report.
The family organized a prayer session at their home in Murang'a County, asking God to intervene in the condition of their 37 -year -old daughter.
They also called on the government to speed up diplomatic efforts to ensure that he was sent back to Kenya as soon as possible.

An elected MP, Sabina Chegehe confirmed that diplomatic negotiations are ongoing, and the government will give its position as soon as the negotiations are completed.

Nduta's family believes he was trapped and that the drug bag was not his.
His sister, Wambui Macharia, explained that Nduta was trapped while still in Kenya and was not involved in drug trafficking.
