Diamond on Mbosso’s exit
On February 6, 2025, while officially confirming Mbosso‘s exit, Diamond, in an interview with Millard Ayo, disclosed that Mbosso approached him to discuss his exit plans from the recording label, including the exit fee.
He went on to explain that they agreed amicably but also turned down his exit fee proposal because Mbosso, during his time at WCB, was hardworking and delivered wholeheartedly.
The self-proclaimed Simba further narrated that the other reason why he waived Mbosso’s exit fee was that the Baikoko hitmaker is respectful and wise, and he is like his younger brother, adding that it could be unfair and shameful to charge him.

Angekuwepo mtu mwingine ambaye hatujaheshimiana hela unatoa,” he explained.
The Bongo Flava star noted that Mbosso is currently managing himself.
“Zaidi ya hilo, ninafikiri mpaka sasa hivi tushakamilisha process na vitu vyake vyote tayari na ashaanza kujisimamia rasmi ata show kuja huku amekuja rasmi kama ameshaanza kujisimamamia,” he added.
Mbosso joined Diamond’s recording label in 2018 shortly after parting ways with Ya Moto Band.
