‘Don’t kiss me’ – Nigeria’s EPL stars can’t believe they’re sharing a bed on international duty [VIDEO]

Nigeria’s English Premier League stars were shocked to find out they’re sharing a bed in the national team camp ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria national team stars Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina were left stunned when they checked into the national team camp ahead of the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifiers.

Iwobi, who plays for English Premier League side Fulham, and Aina, of Nottingham Forest, witnessed their teams secure big wins last weekend to boost their hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, in what has been a great season so far for the two teams.

That meant both Iwobi and Aina checked into the national team camp in high sprits but their excitement soon turned into disappointment when they got into their hotel.

African footballers have enjoyed massive success on and off the field. While the huge perks is a reward for hard work, some of them own luxurious private jets.

The duo expected to find two separate beds in their room but what they found instead was a double bed that they have to share and their reaction was hilarious.

Aina filmed a disappointed Iwobi, who said: “Bruh, ooh my days ooh. Surely this [bed] cannot be separated. I will sleep on the floor.”

The Forest star jokingly told him: “It’s started. Alex, don’t kiss me, do not kiss me.”

Nigerian fans will be hoping that the little ‘shocker’ does not spill over to the pitch as the Super Eagles are in dire straits as far as qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is concerned.

Eric Chelle’s team are second from bottom in Group C with three points from four matches, having not won any, recording three draws and a defeat, with Rwanda, Benin and South Africa tied on seven points while Lesotho have five.

Nigeria face Rwanda and Zimbabwe this month and must win both to revive their hopes with a star-studded squad that has the likes of Iwobi’s Fulham team-mate Calvin Bassey, Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze (AC Milan), and star forwards Victor Osimhen and African Player of the Year Ademola Lookman under pressure to deliver.
