What did Ndindi Nyoro say about William Ruto?

Addressing the media on Tuesday, March 18, the MP narrated how he was removed from the post by claiming that he was not known by the ruling coalition.

“I am human, when you see us politicians we are also human and are naturally frustrated at times. And it is not a desire to lose space but a desire for what brings together political friends,” He said.

Referring to a weakened relationship, the Kiharu MP further claimed that he spoke to the President last time about political issues in October 2024.

Did Kenya first notify Nyoro about the seat?

“The last political negotiations I had with the President-to-face-to-face or through negotiations-it was before October last year I do not want to discuss more personalities,” He said.

Meanwhile, Nyoro said he still did not know why the Kenyan Union first under Ruto's leadership removed him from the position.

He claimed that the Union leadership had never informed him of plans to remove him from the position.

Nyoro argued that despite the process of filling the position as a consultation, the ruling coalition did not discuss the change with him.

“The position I held was the result of a consultation before such a decision was made, extensive debates must be made, either directly or by phone, and any leader in our union about my removal,” Nyoro said.

Who was chosen to replace Ndindi Nyoro?

Initially reported, a change in parliamentary leadership caused Nyoro to lose his position to Samuel Atandi of the ODM party.

Endebess MP Robert Pukose, a close ally of the President, was elected vice -chairman of the powerful committee.

The change came after the agreement was signed between Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
