The teenager is currently fighting for his life at Litein Mission Hospital, with doctors saying he has started to recover.

According to witnesses, the boy took the green snake who had been arrested and killed by his clients, put him in his pocket and later eaten.
His mother said that he brought the snake home and showed him before eating.
“He came home and pulled the animal out of his pocket. When I screamed, he ran to the river, where he ate and drank water, ” He said in the Citizen TV report.
However, the poison of the snake began to affect his body, which caused the villagers to rush him to a nearby clinic, which took him to Litein hospital after his condition deteriorated.
“We had to wrap him in chains and cover his mouth with a towel because he wanted to wrap us,” Said one of the villagers.
The boy was taken to the special care unit (HDU) before being transferred to the standard ward, where he is currently recovering.
Dr Valentine Mbithi from the hospital said the case was very rare and had never supervised it before.
“He was received in serious condition and began to be treated with anaphylaxis -related shock from snake intake,” He explained.
