Diana Marua has expressed her excitement after seeing the luxurious Ksh4 million Toyota Harrier that cross-dressing content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has purchased.
In a video shared on Kinuthia’s TikTok page on Friday, March 14, 2025, Diana is seen bumping into Kinuthia at a car wash in Nairobi before excitedly walking up to him to admire the car, which looked sleek in its striking blue shade.
As their camaraderie blossomed, Diana went a step further by opening the front door, taking a seat inside, and gushing over its elegance. She marvelled at the ultra-modern dashboard and the impeccable interior, praising its sophisticated finish.
“Eei, Kinuthia! Team Blue! We are the winning team. Ati umeleta kabebi car wash? Wow! I love this—aki, congratulations! How does it feel? The dashboard is stunning, the interior is top-notch—wow!” Diana said.
Kinuthia’s first car
Then, Diana, who also posed for a photo at its bonnet, went ahead to say that she was giving him his true flowers because she knew where Kinuthia had come from and how his coming-of-age story had been.
She recalled that Kinuthia had started out with a tiny red car years ago and had since grown to also own a Nissan X-Trail and now the latest model of the Toyota Harrier.
For this, she advised her fans not to be envious when someone makes such a move, saying that people should clap for others and wait for their turn, as Kinuthia had proved that things can truly change for someone.
According to the self-proclaimed Bibi ya Tajiri, Kinuthia’s ability to buy the car was nothing short of the Lord’s doing.
“Let me tell you guys, you better clap for others when they are winning and wait for your time. This is God’s doing! Kinuthia alianza na kadudu—alikuwa proud nako, alikuwa anatembea nako kila mahali, and now look at this; God has done it!” she added.
Working harder
Diana, who cheered him on, saying he had chosen a car colour just like that of her Range Rover, then advised him to keep working harder as there was no limit to success.
She told him that he had made her proud as she used to see how devoted he was when he had a tiny car and told him not to relax now that he had gotten the expensive Harrier.
“Kinuthia eei, keep pushing, keep fighting—the sky is not the limit. Tunapita the sky! Team Blue, mwah! I’m so proud, Ei Kinuthia,” she remarked.
Kinuthia buys mum land
The car, which Kinuthia bought a mere two days ago, comes a week after he left his mom in tears after surprising her with a piece of land in Juja for her to build her next home.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel on March 6, 2025, Kinuthia first treated his mom to a lunch date at a posh city hotel before taking her out for them to have hair makeovers, then finally taking her to the site where the land surprise awaited her.
Then, he reflected on the impact his mom had had on his life and said that the land gesture was a way of appreciating her for dedicating her life to him.
His mom was left in tears and unable to speak and, while thanking him, gave him her blessings and said she was eager to move onto the land and also tap into her son’s blessings.
“Asanti. I can’t believe that you have bought me land. I can’t wait to move into my new plot and have my new home here. Naskia raha, na Mungu akubariki sana,” she said through her tears.
