The family of Gilbert Thuo Kimani, a man who died after being allegedly pushed from a Super Metro bus, has denied allegations that he was involved in a fare conflict with the conductor.
Gilbert's mother denied reports that her son had no money to pay for alleged fare, saying that he rarely carried money and always had money in his mobile wallet.
How Gilbert Thuo died
His statement contradicts the earlier claims that Gilbert was thrown out of a car that was going after he failed to pay the extra 30 KSh he claimed.
Eyewitnesses claim that the dispute began when Gilbert boarded a Super Metro bus (registration number KDL 125N) heading for coffee.
