According to Mbui, leadership and opposition play an important role in deciding who is the Chairman of the various Parliamentary Committees.

He claimed that the nomination was largely due to factors such as capacity, trust and regional balance, rather than the abandonment of the wishes of the elected members.

Mbui also claimed that some of the most commonly led committees have been nominated for minorities due to a political agreement between President William Ruto and the opposition leader Raila Odinga. This arrangement, noted, has left many members without the ability to contest for those positions.

Tension within the leadership of a minority?

Mbui also expressed his sadness by minority leader Junet Mohamed, claiming he had been left out of important decision -making processes. He associated this with a compromise agreement between Raila's ODM and UDA Rutowhich says the Wiper Party is not part of it.

“We have not held meetings as few people to discuss these decisions. They were made elsewhere. I saw just a letter like everyone else. It is a very difficult situation. Every Kenyan knows ODM and UDA They have an arrangement, and Wiper is not part of it, ” He said.

Mbui claimed that even during the change in the leadership of the committee, he had no knowledge of his position despite his top position. He claimed that the decisions were made by a minority leader and a hippopotamus, not including other leaders.

Why the Kenyan political system should be used as a 'international warning'

The Kathian MP argued that the current political environment of Kenya has no democracy and does not make any meaningful progress.

He suggested that the country should be used as an international investigation into political failure.

“How our institutions work is amazing and unusual. I think Kenya should serve as an example to the world about how to not do politics. Democracy has been thrown out of the window, and we are not moving forward – we are stuck in one place,” He complained.

Mbui's remarks are rumored despite rumors that the ODM MP may replace Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro as the Chairman of the Budget Committee, a move that focuses on the tensions that grow in the leadership of Parliament.

Have ODM, UDA formed a political alliance?

At the same time, Raila dismissed the allegations that his agreement with the UDA of Ruto marks the start of the political alliance.

He explained that the program focuses on addressing important issues of the country rather than forming a Union.
