Nairobi – East Mumias MP Peter Salasya has accused former prime minister Raila Odinga by planning to remove him from the Regional Development Department Committee.

In a video statement on Thursday, March 6, Salasya claimed that his removal was based on a secret agreement between Raila and the President William Ruto.

The open -minded MP was replaced by the committee by Rongo MP Paul Abuor, a move that upset the young MP.

What will it be for Salasya after being filtered?

Despite being removed from the influential committee, Salasya stressed, vowing to continue to send development projects to his constituency.

He emphasized that his ability to serve the people of East Mumias will not be hindered by the change of committee.

“It will not stop me from working, with a CDF I can still develop my constituency, I want to tell those MPs who think that by removing us from the committee will win me, it will not happen because I am a good planner,” He said.

In a bold declaration, Salasya vowed to oppose the ODM regime in the West, especially Kakamega.

He explained his intention to gather the people and undermine the party's influence in the region.

“We will finish ODM in Kakamega and West. I am careful about it and I don't care. After all, we are with the people,” Salasya added.

How did Raila drop Parliament?

Previously, Salasya criticized Raila for accusing parliamentarians of ignoring their oversight responsibilities.

Speaking in Kimilili, Salasya claimed that Raila undermined parliamentary management by facilitating the move of ODM MPs to support the Ruto administration.
