2. Mohamed Kheri
Kheri led Kenya to qualify for AFCON, first in 1990 and then two years later. Harambee Stars came out of the draw with Senegal but failed by Zambia and Cameroon in other group games.
In 1992, the teams were organized into three teams each, with Kenya losing to Nigeria and the inhabitants of Senegal.

The German is the most successful coach ever to the Harambee Stars. He led Kenya in three different phases where he led Kenya to finish second in the 1987 (All-Africa Games).
