However, the situation is not the case with Daniel Mungori Muturisio, a diligent elder who has been forced to continue working in the capital to make a living.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mungori revealed that he had been painting for over 30 years, a job that enabled him to take care of his family and educate his children.
“I have many years of experience in painting. We were taught by a government agency many years ago, and that's the job I've been doing since then,” He said.
As a native of Meru County, Mungori is currently living KawangwareNairobi, since most of the paint work is available in the city.
The father of five was proud to say that he had been able to educate them all, with only one left in college.
Why does Daniel Mungori walk with a poster?
Despite the presence of many construction projects in Nairobi, Mungori said getting the paint work has been a serious job.
As a result, he is obliged to advertise his services by carrying a poster everywhere he goes. The poster shows his name, services, and his phone number.
“There are many houses that continue to be built, but finding someone to hire me has been a big challenge,” noted.
He urged Kenyans who need paint services to call him, promising to do clean work for them. Also, he welcomed any help to help him develop his life.
