In a statement posted on his X account on March 4, 2025, Mutua detailed that the recruitment exercise will take place on Wednesday, March 5, and Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm.

“Those successfully recruited will receive passports within a day or two, and the government will provide options for funding for those who cannot afford processing fees, visas, medicals, tickets,” Mutua stated.
Additionally, select job categories will include benefits such as accommodation, insurance, transport, and overtime pay.
“This initiative aligns with the Government’s commitment to providing meaningful employment to Kenyans while ensuring fair terms and conditions of work,” Mutua added.

Ruto’s Ksh120M promise
The job drive announcement follows President William Ruto’s attendance at a church service at the Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu on March 2, 2025.
During this visit, Ruto pledged to donate Ksh20 million toward the church’s construction and promised to mobilize his friends for a fundraiser with a target of Ksh100 million.

“I am a product of giving to God, and I’m unapologetic about it. I do so on the firm foundation of the scriptures,” he said.
“I have accepted to attend your fund drive. In the fundraiser, I will go organise with my friends and look for Ksh100 million,” Ruto added.
