Chebikati, who was famous for managing two Kenyan elections, passed away on February 20 at Nairobi Hospital, where he was receiving treatment.
His final journey will be completed by burial on Saturday, March 8, at his Sabata home.

Chebikati's widow speaks for the first time since her death
Speaking during a meeting at Chebikati's home, Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetang'ula, Mary Wanyonyi said the government would give Chebikati a decent funeral.
Chebikati's widow, who attended the conference, was wearing a maroon skirt suit with her wedding ring still on her finger.
Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Gideon Oyagi also issued a stern warning to those planning to disrupt the funeral of the former IEBC chairman.
Chebikati's dead worship will take place on Wednesday, March 5, in Citam Karen. The worship and memory of honor will take place in his Sabata house on Friday, March 7, before his funeral.
