Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has penned a touching birthday message to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, celebrating him as a loving husband, devoted father, and a great leader.
Taking to her social media accounts on Friday, February 28, 2025, the former second lady described Gachagua as their family’s pillar, best friend, and companion, emphasizing his unwavering support and leadership both at home and in the country.
While expressing her deep love and appreciation for him and acknowledging his strength and dedication, she offered a heartfelt prayer for Gachagua, asking God to grant him long life, protection, and happiness
She further reaffirmed their unwavering support as he turns a year older.
“Happiest Birthday, You are our best friend, a great pillar and companion, a wonderful husband, father and a great leader. We love you always, May Jehovah God give you long life, protection and happiness. We celebrate you and on this birthday our prayer, together with Kevin and Keith, is this; Isaiah 46:4, Even to your old age and grey hairs, I am he, I am he who will sustain you., I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Expressing her admiration, Dorcas highlighted Gachagua’s strength and boldness, emphasizing that his commitment to truth is essential for the country’s progress.
Her remarks reflect her deep appreciation for Gachagua’s leadership style, which she believes is rooted in honesty and a firm stance on national matters. She noted that truthful leadership is key to ensuring development and prosperity for the country.
“I’m very happy to have a man who is strong, who is bold (and) who can be able to speak the truth regardless because if we do not say the truth some things will derail. That is why our country cannot prosper because there is no truth,” she stated.
