Yanga forward given permission to marry another woman by his newlywed wife

Yanga forward Aziz Ki is free to marry another woman, if he wishes, after his newlywed wife Hamisa Mobetto expressed her willingness to allow him to do that.

Yanga star Stephane Aziz Ki just finished his three-day wedding ceremony to Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto a week ago but he already has permission to add another wife.

Ki and Mobetto tied the knot in a colorful ceremony that started with dowry payment on February 15 before an Islamic wedding at the Nnuur Mosque in Mbweni Dar es Salaam the following day, ending with a celebration on February 19.

The wedding has, however, elicited mixed reactions, with the player’s family claiming they do not recognise it as they were not informed, while slamming Yanga president Hersi Said for allowing the forward to be ‘misled.’

South African legend Benni McCarthy has reportedly decided on the men who will join his technical bench when he takes over as Harambee Stars coach.

However, the two appear happy together and in an effort to make her prince charming happy, Mobetto has admitted that she is open to Ki marrying another woman if he so wishes.

“As long as I am married as the first wife, if my husband ever feels the need to add another wife, I will be ready. I don’t have any problem with him marrying another woman,” Mobetto said in a recent interview as quoted by Nairobi News.

Mobetto is cognizant of Ki’s Islamic faith, which allows him to marry up to four wives, as long as he treats them equally when it comes to meeting their material, emotional, sexual and financial needs.

Victor Wanyama has hinted at where he is likely to play next as he weighs his options from a number of several offers on his table.

The mother of two and the footballer made their relationship public in January before announcing wedding plans a week later although a section of Yanga fans have expressed reservations over the marriage given her past.

Mobetto previously dated Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz, when he was married to Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, with the relationship, which yielded a child, blamed for the end of their marriage.
