Internet sensation Bradley Marongo, popularly known as Gen Z Goliath, has finally touched down in Kenya after a months-long, all-expenses-paid getaway in Dubai.
The creator arrived on the evening of Monday, February 24, 2025, and just hours after, he took to social media to update his fans that he was en route back to the country and that he was beyond thrilled to be returning to his motherland.
However, upon landing at the airport, Bradley was met by YouTubers who bombarded him with questions about his trip, pressing him on whether he had enjoyed his stay and if he had plans to go back.
It was then that he opened up about the incredible time he had while abroad but also took a moment to lash out at Kenyans, accusing them of nearly ruining his vacation with unnecessary trolling after they completely misread a video he posted of himself with a lioness.
Bradley made it clear that the video was purely for content creation and vented his frustration at how Kenyans had taken it out of context, blowing it out of proportion by claiming he had been sleeping with the lion while throwing even wilder interpretations his way.
“Kufika nayo after two days unaskia oh Bradley amelala na simba. Oh, Bradley. Nikajiuliza unaeza lala na simba kweli kwa watu kumi. Ilikuwa content. Sisi macontent creator unashootingi ukifikiria content ni poa. Kwako utachukua umeshoot ni poa lakini kuna wale watachukua wakisema ni mbaya,” Bradley said.
JKIA welcome
Bradley arrived at around 6 pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, and just like when he departed for the opulent Middle Eastern city, he was received by his long-time friend, YouTuber 2mbili.
A video shared by 2mbili on Instagram captured the grand moment they reunited, with 2mbili joking that Bradley smelt of nothing but Dubai, while a lady in the background chimed in, noting that his skin had visibly lightened.
2mbili pulled up in his sleek BMW, now freshly wrapped in an eye-catching red-and-black design, and was flanked by fellow YouTubers whose loud chatter turned heads at the airport.
“Mr 2mbili. Nyani haoni kundule. Hatutaki gari yako leo. Mandugu na madada,” Bradley remarked.
“Huyu mtu wa Bungoma ndiyo huyu mtu ananuka Dubai,” 2mbili teased.
“Huoni hata ameekuwa light skin,” a lady in the background added.
Dubai invitation
Bradley left for Dubai on January 25, 2025, after receiving an invitation from the Zam Zam Brothers, renowned moguls in the electronics business empire based in Dubai.
At first, when news of his trip surfaced, many dismissed it as a hoax, given that he had only recently catapulted to fame and was still reeling from drama with his mother, who had accused him of abandoning her.
But it was not until he set foot in the UAE and began posting videos from some of Dubai’s most iconic spots that netizens finally put their doubts to rest.
Bradley, 27, became an overnight internet sensation after his towering frame caught the attention of Kenyans when he showed up at the June 2024 Gen Z-led anti-finance bill protests.
