Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s enduring belief in herself and her relentless pursuit of excellence continue to inspire women to break barriers and achieve greatness.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has disclosed the one thing that keeps her going and urged other women to try to take it up if they desire to prosper in their respective fields.

The 10-time world champion explained that as a woman in sport, she had to learn how to be her greatest cheerleader, something that has propelled her to be one of the greatest female sprinters of all time.

Shelly-Ann is also one of the oldest female sprinters and many might be wondering how she manages to show up every single day without failure.

The three-time Olympic champion pointed out that she has always been interested in breaking barriers and even at 38, she still wants to compete at the highest level.

“I want to have the experience and I believe it’s possible and I think what’s important is just showing athletes and women that you get to decide and break barriers and decide the future that you want,” Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce said in an interview with TJ Sports USA.

“It’s up to you, if you want to pursue this goal that you believe in and once you believe in that, go after it with your whole heart. That’s what I’m basically doing.”

After giving birth at 30, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce revealed that she thought it was the end of her career but her resilient nature wanted to try things out once again.

Shelly-Ann believes there is still more in the tank and she revealed that she will keep going until she feels like there is nothing more to give.

“I’m at this stage where I believe the best is yet to come. It’s strange to see that at this age, I have been blessed to accomplish so many things but I still think that I’m at the door at something amazing and I still want to have something amazing,” Shelly-Ann added.
