LEADERSHIP LEADERSHIP DEATH
1. William Cheptumo
Baringo Senator, William Cheptumo, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Nairobi Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for prolonged illness.
Senate Speaker Amason Kingi referred to Cheptumo as a volunteer leader who volunteered to bring about change in Baringo County and the Nation.
2. Moses Injendi Malulu

A day after Cheptumo left the world, Malava MP Moses Injendi Malulu died while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
Serving for his third term in parliament since 2013, Injendi was remembered by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula as a strong and dedicated leader.
Wetang'ula noted the efforts of the Injendi as Vice Chairman of the Department of Education and Research Committee.
3. Raphael Munyua Ndung'u
Former Deputy Governor of Lamu Raphael Munyua Ndung'u passed away on September 7, 2024 at Nairobi Hospital.
West Lamu MP Stanley Muthama praised him as a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly to gain excellence in his profession.
4. Mark Wainaina
Mark Wainaina, Murang'a MP nominated by UDA In the County Assembly (MCA), he passed away due to severe lung conditions on November 13, 2024.
Despite his request for money to pay for medical bills, Wainaina could not cope with the problems that caused the lungs to fail.
5. Ezra Kabuga
Kiambu's nominee Ezra Kabuga died in a road accident on September 22, 2024, along the road Thika near Mang'u's high school.
His car collided with a truck before burning.
Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi referred to Kabuga as a vibrant and promising leader who was eager to serve the people of Kiambu.

6. Elijah Osiemo
MCA Nyamaiya and a majority leader in Nyamira County Parliament Elijah Osiemo lost his life in a fatal road accident on August 7, 2023, along Maai Mahiu Road.
Two other MCAs were injured in the same accident.
7. William Kamoti
Former Rabai MP William Kamoti died in a road accident shortly after submitting his nomination papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
The accident happened on May 30, 2022, in the Ninni area along the Mombasa-Malindi highway.
8. Francis Waititu Munyua (give them)
Former Juja MP, Francis Waititu Munyua, the famous ones, he passed away on February 22, 2021, while he was hospitalized at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi.
Former Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi praised the efforts of their efforts in leading laws aimed at improving the agricultural sector.
9. John Oroo Oyoka
Former Bonchari MP John Oroo Oyika passed away on February 15, 2021 at Hospital Kisumu after a long illness.

Kepsha National Chairman dies in a road accident
Other news, education brothers mourn following the death of Johnson Nzioka, National Chairman of Kepsha and the headmaster of Donholm Primary School.
Nzioka lost his life in a road accident on Nairobi-Mombasa Road in Athi River when his car collided with a trailer.
He was remembered by many, including Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, as a hard -working reformer who has volunteered to develop the education sector and to promote the teaching profession.
