17 people suffered injuries, including two adults and one child who were previously cited as seriously injured. Two seriously injured adults – a 40 -year -old woman and a 60 -year -old man – were transported by plane to special medical facilities for immediate care.

The remaining passengers injured suffered minor to moderate injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Delta Air Lines confirmed the accident on Monday, February 17, and canceled all the remaining flights to and from Pearson as a precautionary measure.

“The Delta Connection Flight No. 4819, operated by Endaavor Air using the CRJ-900 aircraft, was involved in a single airline crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) at 2:15 pm on Monday. What caused the Toronto plane crash?
