The Nairobi court has extended the prevention of John Kiama Warri, a man found carrying the remains of his murdered wife, for 14 more days.

The 29 -year -old suspect was trapped on Monday, January 20, in the Huruma Estate area with a heavy handbag. After the inspection, police discovered the bag contained human residues that were cut off believed to be his wife's.

Investigating officials revealed that some body parts are still unknown, resulting in a comprehensive investigation and additional scientific investigations.

The remnants were transferred to the City's mortuary for a corpse as the authority continued to investigate the source of the horrific killings.

Waves were brought to court for the first time on Wednesday, January 23, in which Chief Justice Gilbert Shikwe gave the police 21 days to complete their investigation.

Why did the court order the victims be abandoned for a long time?

When the suspect was brought to court on Monday, February 17, the judge added his detachment for two weeks to allow further verification of the case.

The prosecution told the court that the investigation had been completed, and the report was submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The ODPP has now been tasked with deciding whether the victim will face murder charges.

“The DPP will review the file and decide whether or not you will be charged with murder or not. This court has given them 14 days to make the decision. However, if the decision is made in advance, you will be notified, ” Said Judge Shikwe.

Waves did not oppose the court's decision and was taken to the Capital Hill police station, where he will continue to be detained while waiting to be read further.

According to his family, he is known for being quiet and unanimous, rarely talking or causing any issues. His close friend also explained that he had never witnessed the sheriff harming anyone and was also confused about how he found himself in this situation.
