FKF Premier League veteran striker John Makwata is among the notable additions to Bandari FC’s squad.
Bandari FC has officially announced the acquisition of four new players as they look to maintain momentum and secure a respectable finish in the FKF Premier League.
The club unveiled the signings at Mbaraki Sports Club on Monday, February 17, as they gear up for the second half of the season.
The most notable addition is veteran Kenyan Premier League striker John Makwata, who brings a wealth of experience to the Dockers.
Coach Duncan Ayiemba revealed the behind-the-scenes challenges, including unexpected changes in Ferdinand Omanyala’s support team, that led to his disappointing performance in Budapest.

Makwata, who has previously featured for AFC Leopards, Kenya Police, and Kariobangi Sharks, joins from Tanzanian side Coastal Union.
The seasoned forward has already netted two goals for the club this season, trailing their top scorer by just four goals.
Bandari will be hoping his proven goal-scoring ability and familiarity with the local league will be instrumental in their campaign.

With experience both locally and abroad, Bandari hopes he will provide much-needed stability to their backline.

Midfielder Clifford Ouma has also joined the ranks, making the switch from struggling FKF Premier League side Nairobi City Stars.
Additionally, striker Ali Halafu has been recruited from second-tier National Super League outfit Congo United, based in the Coastal region.

Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic is confident his charges will retain the FKF Premier League title despite falling behind in the title race after stalemate with Tusker.
These reinforcements, however, have resulted in some casualties as defender Ali Said has been deemed surplus to requirements, and his contract will not be renewed or extended.
Said had joined Bandari from Omax FC during the January 2024 transfer window but has now been released as the club reshapes its squad.
Currently sitting fifth on the FKF Premier League table with 32 points, Bandari trails league leaders Kenya Police by nine points.
The club will be hoping these new additions bolster their squad as they push for a strong finish to the season.
