Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic is confident his charges will retain the FKF Premier League title despite falling behind in the title race after stalemate with Tusker.
Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic remains upbeat about his team’s prospects of retaining the FKF Premier League title after a goalless draw against fellow title contenders Tusker FC at Machakos Stadium on Sunday.

“My team was solid, the combination was superb, we made more crosses, were calm, and played good football. We had 80 percent of the attacking play, and the Green Army is back. As a football coach, I see us winning the title if we continue playing this way,” Mihic said after the match as per Nation.
Gor Mahia’s dominance was most evident in the second half, where they pinned Tusker back into their own half for large portions of the game.
However, despite their attacking intent, they were unable to break the deadlock.

Gor Mahia and Tusker FC shared the spoils in a top of the table clash that could prove decisive in the title race.
“The transition can be likened to big teams in Europe. We are a better team, I’m happy we are back. Gor Mahia is back, and I believe we will be champions,” Mihic added.
The match was Mihic’s second in charge since his appointment as K’Ogalo’s head coach.
Mihic’s debut saw Gor Mahia secure a 2-1 win over Mathare United, though the Croatian tactician had expressed some dissatisfaction with their performance despite the victory.
Following the draw, Gor Mahia maintain their third-place position on the league table with 35 points, four behind Tusker and six behind leaders Kenya Police FC.
Police solidified their top spot with a convincing 2-0 win over Bidco United, further intensifying the three-way battle for the championship.
With the season heating up, Mihic and his charges will look to build on their performances as they seek to reclaim their dominance in Kenyan football.
