Yanga striker Aziz Ki’s three-day wedding to Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto is not over yet but the player’s mother is already breathing fire over the ceremony.
Yanga striker Aziz Ki’s wedding to Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto appears not to have the blessings of his mother who has expressed her anger over the ceremony.
Sanata Ki, the striker’s mother, has hit out at Yanga president Hersi Said over his decision to act as the player’s parent during dowry negotiations on Saturday, claiming she has not been informed about the marriage and does not recognise it.
Through her Instagram page, Sanata Ki wrote a long post to lament about her son’s wedding while making startling allegations.
“Hypocrite, wicked, ridiculous, sly and stupid, foolish,” Sanata Ki stated in her long post.
Yanga striker Stephane Aziz Ki started his three-day marriage ceremony to Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto on Saturday but what has he paid as dowry?
“As a family, we were not informed about this wedding with this young man named Hersi. He is a great liar before God. Hersi, let me tell you something, you are not the person to prepare my son’s wedding. You are just a poor leader who wants, with fire, with blood, to keep this young man in Tanzania.
“You can arrange your wedding for her if she is happy, Alhamdulillah… But don’t say something that is not true…You are spending your life on lies. That’s why you shouldn’t involve this precious family in your nonsense, right?”

Sanata Ki went on, claiming her family was in the dark over her son’s relationship with the mother of two and were not aware of any marriage plans.
“Don’t worry, he will wake up. God is one,” she went on, expressing confidence that her son will soon ‘see the light.’
“How can I just give you permission to have a wedding without me? How come? How can a girl want a man and get married without trying to know the family? It was about a contract, a job, and football – that’s it.
“The boy has many uncles; you can’t be the one to prepare his wedding. You cannot be a dowry-bringer—no, you cannot. You are not part of my family, and you never will be. You are too bad to be a part of us.
“As for me, I was informed for the first time through social networks… And I congratulated my son despite everything… Then he decided to inform me. But I was on a duty mission in Dakar and I left yesterday.”
Ki paid dowry for Mobetto on Saturday, with reports saying it included 30 cows and cash, while the wedding ceremony continued on Sunday with the Nikka before the celebration is held on Wednesday.
