Shabana revealed a healthy gate collection from Sunday’s match against Mathare United but fans urged the club to use part of the funds to address a key area in the team.
Shabana supporters have urged the club to quickly find a striker in the midseason transfer window after watching their team fail to win their last three games.
Shabana fans filled Gusii Stadium once again on Sunday but their team could only play out a goalless draw against Mathare United.
That comes after a 2-1 loss to Posta Rangers a week earlier, which was preceded by a goalless draw with Kariobangi Sharks, and fans appear to be tired of their toothless attack.
Muluyha is not worried about the prospect of losing key midfielder Keith Imbali to Shabana in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
Tore Bobe have scored 19 goals in 21 matches but supporters have kept filling up match venues and the club collected Ksh1,054,100 from Sunday’s match, a good return, but the fans now want them to use part of it to sign a clinical striker.
“We hope it’s enough to get a natural 9 for the team,” a fan made the plea to the club on social media.

“Shabana has a good fanbase and family. Buy a serious and good striker equivalent to [Mathew] Tegisi not a blunt striking force as witnessed in today’s game,” another one urged the club.
“Win more games. Score more goals. That will encourage more fans to come to the stadium. That will see an increase in revenue,” was the advice of another supporter.
“Now get top players who can fight for the league,” another Shabana fan said of the team that is in eighth position in the FKF Premier League with 29 points, 12 behind leaders Kenya Police.
Shabana’s goal-scoring burden has been left on the shoulders of Brian Michira after Mathew Tegisi, who had scored five goals this season, left the club in December to join Tanzanian side Pamba Jiji FC.
