When James's father, Michael Omworo Ombui was buried in the village of Kiamoka, Nyaribare Masaba parliament, Kisii County, Sonko accompanied the three -year -old orphan at a sad event.

Sonko struggled to keep his tears when James' body was brought down from the grave as he carried James.
He pulled out his towel and wiped his tears as James looked sideways during the cry.
