How did Martin's parents know his death?
In a Facebook post, Ndungu Nyoro revealed that the parents of young Martin Mugambi from Meru County received a phone call on Monday, February 10, evening.
“The caller just told them that 'your baby was taken by the police' and cut off the phone,” Said Nyoro.
The parents could not travel from Meru to Makindu at night so they traveled on Tuesday, February 11.
When they arrived at the school, they allegedly encountered a cold reception from the leadership, without the director, school principal or the deputy head of the school to serve them.
“They found shocking news about the death of their child from the Chairman of the Board of Governors (Bog). No one else had time with them,” He claimed Nyoro.
How did Martin Mugambi die?
At the school, Mugambi's parents knew that the second -year student was found dead in the school's swimming pool on Sunday, February 9.
His body was later transported to Makindu County Hospital awaiting an investigation from the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI).
