Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy has advised her fans to move on and accept the situation if their partner broke up with them just days before Valentine’s Day.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she encouraged her followers not to stress over breakups that happen right before Valentine’s Day.

According to her, if someone chooses to end a relationship just days before Valentine’s, it is a clear sign that they have someone else lined up to spend the romantic occasion with.

“Someone breaking up with you a few days to Vals simply means they have someone else & they’ll be spending that day with the love of their life,” she wrote.

Instead of dwelling on the pain, she urged her followers to focus on healing and moving forward.

“Don’t stress them. Just accept & heal,” Vishy added.

Valentine’s is coming

On the other hand, content creator and influencer Shorn Arwa had a message for individuals who might find themselves empty-handed this Valentine’s Day. Taking to her Instagram page on February 6, 2025, she criticized those who expect to receive gifts despite rarely stepping out to socialize or meet new people.

In her view, not receiving any tokens of affection on this special day is simply the consequence of choosing isolation over interaction. Shorn encouraged her followers to step out more often, even if it’s just occasionally, as it increases the likelihood of meeting potential lovers.

“Valentine is coming! If you are going to receive totally nothing please don’t worry 😉 that’s the price you pay for refusing to mingle and interact 😂 how will love find you when you’re always in doors, please go out even just a little,” Shorn noted.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, love is in the air, but so are breakups, especially for those juggling more than one relationship or those camping in other people’s relationships. The season of love often brings with it unexpected twists, leaving some heartbroken just days before the big day. With Valentine’s Day often placing heightened expectations on relationships, breakups during this time can feel even more painful.
