Why will the Mbotela be buried in Lang'ata

Fred Obachi Machoka was among the Kenyans who expressed their dissatisfaction, saying that Mbotela deserves a more respectful place for his contribution to the media.

Many Kenyans agreed with Machoka's views, insisting that Mbotela should find the most respectful part of rest.

However, journalist Yassin Juma has explained the reason for Mbotela buried in public cemeteries.

“If you wanted him to be buried in his ancestral residence, that would mean transporting his body to the village of Mpanda on the coast of Lake Malawi in Malawi,” He said.

Juma explained that Mbotela is not a native of communities whose origin is coastal.

Juma revealed that many of Mbotela's relatives were buried in public cemeteries in Freretown, Mombasa.

The reporter said that it was the will of Mbotela's family to bury Lang'ata, and asked Kenyans to respect it.

He concluded with Mbotela, saying:

“You were happy to hear stories of my experience as a warrior every time we met. You were eager to know how I survived a civil war in Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia.”

Juma revealed that he wished Mbotela to be part of the film he was preparing, but God had other plans.

How did Mbotela want him to be remembered?

In one recent video, Mbotela explained how he wanted to be remembered after his death.

Mbotela seemed to be healthy and strong, calmly expressing his thoughts about his inheritance.

He said that he wished there was a memory of his life, his work, and his achievements, so that future generations could learn about his contribution.
