‘Never had a birthday party growing up’

Junelle Bromfield explains why she is emotional celebrating her 27th birthday.

Noah Lyles’ fiancée, Junelle Bromfield has opened up about the one thing she never enjoyed while growing up.

On February 8, the Jamaican athlete turned 27 and celebrated the special occasion with fiancee Noah Lyles after the pair had an impressive 2024.


The American sprinter used the opportunity to remind his fiancée all her wins of the past year as she looks forward to more success.


Lyles and Bromfield got engaged in October last year and five months later, Junelle Bromfield celebrated her birthday with Lyles, a ceremony that was only meant for the selected few with preference given to friends  and family.

Bromfield and Lyles have enjoyed their off season together and the Olympic champion threw a birthday party for Bromfield.

Junelle Bromfield has sparked speculation with a thought-provoking Instagram post on loyalty, while exploring voice acting amid her track hiatus.


Excited by the gesture, the Jamaican made an emotional confession about never having a birthday party as a child and how Lyles fulfilled her dream by throwing one for her.

“It’s my birthday, everybody. Yeah, it’s my birthday. And Noah surprised me with something that I’ve always wanted. So I never had a birthday party growing up as a child. And now I decided that today is the day that he’s going to fix that. So he’s just going to give me everything that I never had as a child. So I’m about to have some fun,” Bromfield posted on Instagram.

“Let me let me show you guys. I had the back of her house. We have not one, not 2, but 3 bounce houses. Like he’s like, I’m going to give you all the birthday parties that you missed on.So I’m about to have some fun.”

Since their engagement last year Noah Lyles has been very supportive of Junelle.
