Tyreek Hill reignites his rivalry with Noah Lyles, claiming the Olympic champion is afraid of being beaten as fans eagerly await their long-delayed race.
Fans are still waiting for the clash between Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill but it seems to be taking longer than expected.
However, to keep fans glued to their screens for the long-awaited race, Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles have already started their bitter exchanges with the triple-world champion spearheading their beef this season.
After winning the 60m race at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Noah Lyles took out his bib and turned it inside out where he had written, ‘Tyreek could never.’
The former sprinters have doubled down on their criticism of the Miami Dolphins wide receiver who has been trash talking Olympics champion Noah Lyles.
Tyreek Hill, responding to Noah Lyles, explained that the sprinter is afraid of the clash, which is the reason behind his jibe.
He made the remarks on the Fantasy Football Happy Hour podcast with Matthew Berry, revealing that he has a better chance of stunning Noah Lyles in their 40-yard challenge.
He explained that Noah Lyles is taller hence his reaction time to the gun would take a little bit longer compared to him.

All you need to know about Kishane Thompson’s parents, from his mother who was also a sportsperson to his late father.
“Let’s just keep a spade of spade. Noah Lyles is scared. I mean, yes. He should be. He should be, man, because when you think of a smaller stature guy like myself, I have great turnover,” Tyreek Hill said.
“So my start is gonna be tremendous, versus his start. He’s kind of a taller guy, so he needs time to build up his speed, you know.”
Speaking about the race, he explained that both teams had been in talks throughout the entire off-season and it might be sooner than people think.
Tyreek Hill noted that he has been keeping fit and training hard ahead of the race, expressing his eagerness to beat Noah Lyles in the race.
“Like, I started training on the track, I started lifting weights, do what I gotta do, pulling sleighs. Whatever I gotta do, man, so I’m really looking forward to it, man,” he shared.
Meanwhile, the beef between Noah Lyles and Tyreek Hill started right after the Paris Olympic Games when the American sprinter lost the 200m title.

The American sprinter has displayed a rare soft side to her larger than life persona while asking for direction, wisdom and inspiration.
Noah Lyles was confident about winning the 100m and 200m but tested positive for COVID before the 200m. Letsile Tebogo claimed top honours in the race as Kenny Bednarek and Lyles finished second and third respectively.
In an interview, the Dolphins receiver claimed he would beat Noah Lyles in a race and asserted that he would wear a mask while doing it. Noah Lyles then clapped back at him and later agreed to race against him but the race has yet to happen.
