Who is in charge of Oscar Sudi's Timber XO?
Speaking during a public speech, Sudi explained that despite the widespread view, the restaurant operates independently, and over 200 staff are in charge of its daily activities.
“Many people think that I am running a Timber XO restaurant, but that's not true. As a businessman, if you start a business, you have to let others do it while you continue with other business,” He explained.
The MP added that he had never interfered with the management of the restaurant, nor had he hired any employee.
Instead, he only receives regular updates and advice on improvement when needed.
He emphasized that whenever he visits the restaurant, he only orders his food – at times chickens and fanta – eat, and leave like any other customer.
“I go there as a customer, I order my food-maybe chickens and fanta-dinner, and leave. You can't find me sitting there and acting as I own the area,” Sudi said.
His remarks come following rumors directly with Timber XO, especially after the restaurant suffered severe damage during The procession to oppose the cash bills in June 2024.
Why did Sudi rebuild Tiber XO after the protest?
According to Sudi, those who destroyed the institution were targeted without thinking of the number of people benefiting from it.
“When problems arose, people just saw Sudi, ignoring the whole team behind me. He said.
Despite the obstacles, the MP said he chose to rebuild the restaurant, emphasizing his commitment to ensure his staff continue to make a living.
He noted that one of his main fun is to pay workers' salaries, adding that more than one thousand recruitment brings him great satisfaction.
“I have rebuilt the hotel because one of the things that brings me happiness is a day like today-a day to pay your employees' salaries. He explained.

Previously, Sudi congratulated Timber XO employee, Cytzal Lunyanji, for graduating from the University Eldoret and a degree of financial.
