NFL star and Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Tyreek Hill has questioned Olympic champion Noah Lyles’ credentials amidst reignited feud.

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has once again questioned Olympic champion Noah Lyles’ credentials as the world’s fastest man following Lyles’ recent victory at the New Balance Grand Prix on February 2.

The ongoing rivalry between the two speedsters, which was at its peak in 2024, has been reignited after Lyles’ latest performance in Boston.

The reigning 100m and 200m world champion comfortably won the 60m sprint at the prestigious indoor event, clocking a time of 6.52 seconds.

His closest competitors, Terrence Jones and Olympic 100m champion Marcell Jacobs, finished in second and third place with times of 6.57 and 6.60 seconds, respectively.

After securing his victory, Lyles took the opportunity to take a jab at Hill, revealing his race bib with the message, “Tyreek could never.”

He later doubled down on social media, posting a picture of himself holding the bib and writing, “Let me show you the world’s fastest man.”

Hill quickly responded to Lyles’ claim, questioning his legitimacy as the fastest man in the world. He took to X (formerly Twitter), sarcastically asking, “Who gave you that title? Your Wikipedia page?”

While Lyles is the reigning world and Olympic champion, his title as the fastest man alive has been subject to debate.

Despite his accolades, he has not recorded the fastest time over 100m. That distinction belongs to his Jamaican rival, Kishane Thompson, who clocked an impressive 9.77 seconds at the 2024 Jamaican Olympic Trials.
