Siaya – Intelligence officials in Siaya County have launched an investigation into the death of a 19 -year -old footballer in Ugenya northwest.
When was James Omondi Osowo killed?
Citizen Digital reported that James Omondi Osowo's body was found that he had been thrown into a farm in Siaga village along the Miyare-Obet Road.
Assistant Chief of the Karadolo West Karadolo area George Ominde confirmed the incident of murder.
The local supervisor revealed that the deceased's body had a knife -burning injury.
Preliminary studies show that the young footballer may have been killed elsewhere before his body was thrown into the field.
According to the residents, James attended a match in Rarieda sub -county on Sunday, February 2, with his friend – and driving a borrower's motorcycle.
Police reports say after the football match, the deceased visited his girlfriend in the area.
Detectives are now trying to find out what happened in his partner's area as James was found on Monday, January 3 am.
Police are searching for the friend, who was driving the motorcycle to support the investigation.
