Fever bay – The wife of the Elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) who was killed on Saturday, February 1 reported in tears in tears of her husband's knife in the church.
The killed elder, Francis Opiyo lost his life while serving at the Ebeneza SDA church in Ramoya village, a small Samba Lake in the South Suba parliamentary constituency.

“The suspect moved from where he was sitting until he was my husband, we didn't know what would happen. Suddenly, he stabbed him with a knife. My husband suffered from pain and collapsed, ” He narrated in the Citizen TV report.
Leah Akech, one of the family members called on the public to find other ways to resolve conflicts as opposed to attacking and killing each other.
He also mourned Opiyo noting that his death was sudden.
“We were surprised when we heard my brother -in -law had left, we heard a knife,” Said Akech.
“I want to urge the public not to take the law into their own hands because you can end up hurting someone and ruining your life in the process. Our office is open to anyone who has any information so that issues can be resolved before they end with disaster, ” The local supervisor said.
What happened in the Ebeneza SDA church?
According to earlier reports, Opiyo has completed the announcement and reports to the congregation.
He then continued to hand over the service to a fellow elder who pulled out a knife hidden in the Bible and invaded him in the chest.
South Suba Sub -County Police Commander Caxton Ndunda said the suspect, accused Opiyo of having an out -of -wedlock relationship with his wife who is also a member of the church.
