Olympic champion Gabby Thomas opens up about her recent ordeal.
Olympic 200m champion Gabby Thomas seems to be at crossroads regarding her next move following reports of stalking last week.
The American who revealed in an exclusive interview via the Daily Mail about an ordeal of her being followed by unknown group of about 3-6 people to airports, seems unsettled.
The three-time Olympic champion was involved in a confrontation with the group, questioning them about why they have been following her but no satisfactory answer was forthcoming.
She said the harassment at the airport was an infringement to her privacy, with her boyfriend also suffering the same treatment from the said men. Thomas, born in Georgia and raised in Massachusetts, seems to have no answer on what she needs to do admitting that her life was in danger.
Sha’Carri Richardson has explained why she does not regret failing to win gold in the final of the 100 meters in Paris, a race she was widely expected to win.
In a recent trip to Boston where she went to watch the 2025 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Thomas admitted to seeking advice from people regarding her next step.
Thomas took to Tik Tok to ask for advice saying,“I fear I’m being stalked and I genuinely don’t know what to do or who to go to.”
While in Boston, she still reflected how her journey has been, vowing to continue working hard to eventually become the best sprinter in the world.
“It’s all the hard work I have put in prior to that and it’s all paying off. It takes a lot of experience to come and take the big win and then maintain it.”
Beginning her professional career in 2018, Thomas will hope to maintain momentum and extend her winning streak to 2025 following her accomplishments at the Paris Olympics.
