Olympic champion Gabby Thomas gives details about the hell she goes through before boarding flights.
Three-time Olympic champion Gabby Thomas has revealed that her life is in danger.
Her sentiments come in the wake of her setting records straight that she is always being followed to airports by a group of middle-aged unknown men, and is now fearing for her life.
Thomas, who was born in Georgia and raised in Massachusetts, said she is afraid to travel alone.
Thomas, who competed in college for Harvard University before beginning a professional track career in 2018, spoke to Sportskeeda saying: “At this point every time I travel, these men, it’s 3-6 of them, middle-aged, they are gonna show up and harass me. It doesn’t matter what city. They’ve come when I was traveling to and from Chicago, they’ve come when I’m traveling to and from Miami. And they have my flight information.”
Thomas, 28, disclosed the information via a Tik Tok video, accusing the group of becoming hostile if she refuses to sign the stacks of pictures and vowed to pursue the group in order to save others from the same unwarranted vice.
“These guys are done. When I figure this out, these guys won’t be harassing anyone else.”
Gabby Thomas’ athletics career has been on an upward trajectory. She was recognized as the Ivy League Most Outstanding Track Performer in 2017 and 2018, marking the beginning of her illustrious athletic career. Thomas is also an academic giant.
A graduate of Harvard University, she studied neurobiology and global health as an undergraduate. In May 2023, Thomas finished her master of public health degree in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, at their Austin regional campus.
