Marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge is set to return to the London Marathon this April, eyeing a record-breaking fifth title.
The Kenyan icon, widely regarded as one of the greatest distance runners in history, is determined to bounce back after a disappointing 2024 season that saw him fail to finish the marathon distance for the first time at the Paris Olympics.
Kipchoge’s quest for redemption adds another chapter to his storied career, which has often been compared to that of Ethiopian great Haile Gebrselassie.

“The question is how fast they are going to run. World record or not, it’s going to be an attractive race, and I can’t wait to watch this race,” he told Olympics.com.
