Gachagua vowed that the structure he and his colleagues in the opposition would come with will offer any necessary sacrifices to ensure Ruto is president of one term.
“I want to make my promise that we are part of this team and we will travel this journey together to liberate this country and we will do whatever is needed to ensure that Ruto is the president of one term,” Gachagua said.

The newspaper reported on the process of rebuilding the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which has been delayed for several months.

The Panel Panel now has 90 days to set up new IEBC commissioners in the office; Thereafter the commission will begin preparations for the 2027 general election, aside from managing the election of wards and election constituencies.
