- Her husband Governor Kawira Mwangaza Murega Baichu has released a new song to warm politicians who criticize his wife's leadership
- Baichu advised Senator Kathuri Murungi and some MPs to be calm as his wife will rule Meru county until 2032
- His song that was sung in the church has caused a lot of criticism on the internet with many advising him to respect God's altar
Meru – Murega Baichu, her husband the governor of Meru Kawira Mwangazahas released a new song that defends his wife and heats up his critics.
Kawira's husband's message to his critics
In the song, Baichu directly mentions the Meru senator, Kathuri Murungi, and several members of parliament, asking them to “calm down” (using the words tuliza mbori).
The song, which was sung during the church service as the praise and worship group joined in the choir, boldly states that Governor Kawira will lead the county until 2032.
“Tuliza mbori, Kathuri, the governor of Meru is Kawira until 2032. This is God's announcement from the altar until 2032,” sang Baichu, insisting that his leadership is ordained by God and cannot be challenged.
Mrembo, 37, claims men run away from her as soon as she says she is still a virgin: “I am waiting for marriage”
Baichu also emphasized that Kawira was chosen by God from the altar and claimed that no one will remove him before completing his two terms of leadership.
The song has attracted mixed reactions from the public. Some criticized the song as disrespectful to the county and inappropriate for the church environment, while others saw Baichu as a supportive husband.
Critics attributed his apparent support to the challenges Governor Kawira has faced, including surviving trials three to remove him from power.
However, followers advised Baichu to avoid using the altar for such rituals, claiming it could undermine the sanctity of the church.
