Faith Kipyegon has shared a glimpse of her return to training ahead of busy to 2025 season.

Three-time Olympic champion Faith Kipyegon has offered fans a sneak peek into her return to training, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling 2025 season.

The 31-year-old Kenyan track sensation, fresh off a spectacular 2024 campaign that saw her clinch gold in the 1500m and silver in the 5000m at the Paris Olympics, has returned to the grind with an eye on new challenges.

Taking to Instagram, Kipyegon shared snapshots of her January training routines alongside her husband, Timothy Kitum, himself a former Olympian and 800m bronze medalist.

“January so far 🥰🎞️,” she captioned the post, offering a glimpse into her preparations.

Kipyegon, a mother to her daughter Alyn, has previuosly hinted at an evolution in her running career.

With an illustrious record in the 1500m, she is contemplating a move to longer distances and possibly the marathon.

In a past episode of Engage Talk, Kipyegon spoke candidly about the natural progression for middle-distance runners as they age.

“When the age comes, you have to move from one distance to another, especially with sprints. You can’t stay in the 1500m forever,” she explained.

“You have to introduce your legs to new challenges—moving from 1500m to 5000m and eventually to the marathon. Maybe you will see me in the marathon in the future,” she added with a teasing smile.

The Briton 1500m star has made a bold move with the hope of silencing Faith Kipyegon and Co in 2025.

The upcoming season could see Kipyegon locking horns with fellow Kenyan Beatrice Chebet, who edged her out to claim gold in the 5000m in Paris. Fans are already anticipating an exciting rivalry between the two as Kipyegon looks to settle the score.
