Sharon Gift Achieng 'wiped her tears as she shared her terrible experience with endometriosis for over two decades.
Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the uterus, or endometrium, grow out of the uterus and can cause severe pain in the inflammation, thus making it difficult to get pregnant, according to the Mayo clinic.
The 24 -year -old said she had pain in her stomach since she was a young girl but did not know that there was a health problem.
Speaking to TUKO.co.keAchieng 'said he always thought he had severe abdominal pain and would receive regular treatment.
“Whenever I would tell my mother I have a stomach pain, she was giving me pain relief or diclofenac. There was no time she would see my health status as an emergency and take me to the doctor,” He said bitterly.
