The sprinter has been sponsored by Nike, Asics, and Puma. Fred Kerley signed a deal with Nike in 2017, shortly after winning the 400m at the NCAA Division I Championships. Kerley’s contract with Nike ended in 2022.
Kerley then inked a deal with Asics in early 2023, after his contract with Nike ended but Asics mutually agreed to part ways in June 2024, after one-year of sponsorship.
Fred Kerley was seen wearing Puma spikes in the warmup area before the NYC Grand Prix 100m in June 2024. Kerley shared a video on Instagram of himself training while wearing Puma spikes although up to to date Puma and Kerley have not announced a formal partnership.

Fred Kerley is dating Cleo Rahman, who goes by the stage name DJ Sky High Baby. Rahman is a DJ. Kerley and Rahman were both arrested in Miami Beach in January this year after a confrontation with police.
Rahman was charged with resisting arrest without violence, while Kerley was charged with battery, resisting an officer, and disorderly conduct. Rahman posted to Instagram after her arrest, saying, “police brutality on black men got to stop!!”
It is not known when or how long DJ Sky High Baby has been dating Kerley, whose altercation with his wife in May 2024 has seen him slapped with fresh charges of strangulation and robbery.

Fred Kerley won a silver medal in the 100-meter race at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also competed in the 200-meter event. During the semi-finals, he achieved a personal milestone by running under 20 seconds for the first time. Kerley settled for bronze in 100m event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
