Kirinyaga: Members of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) in Gichugu are still in shock after thieves invaded their place of worship after Sunday service.

Did thieves steal equipment from Kirinyaga ACK church?
It has been reported that the thieves entered the church through the main door and stole speakers, microphones, cables, locks and audio mixers worth KSh 300,000.
“Those who entered this church used the main door. It also seems that they left using this other door because it was the one that was open,” one participant told Citizen TV.
A believer said he was informed about the theft on Monday morning, January 20, by his neighbor.
The believers complained that the theft that was widespread in the area has now spread to places of worship.
“It seems they have moved from our houses now they are stealing from the church,” another member said.
Leaders of the church said this is the second incident of theft in the area, noting that in September last year, another church related to ACK lost equipment worth thousands to thieves.
The police in Kirinyaga are investigating the theft of the church to catch those responsible for the incident.
